5 most Important point for choosing bridal jewellery in 2011

Oh my god so it's been so long. I have recently had a baby and become a full-time stay at home mum. I'm going use the time to get me jewellery out there in this big world of ours. I'm hoping my blog with help fellow brides get lots of help when organising there wedding.

I too am getting married this year. So if I come across anything of use I'll let you know.

First blog as a stay at home mum is all about the important points brides need to consider when choosing jewellery.

5. Most important points when choosing jewellery for your wedding.

1. Match necklace to dress - first check the detail on your dress does it have sequins, pearls, crystal dimantes or beads. Jewellery should echo theme of dress. Is your dress of a classic style of more morden? think about what style would match your dress.

2. Don't overload - Don't over load on statement jewellery. A maximum of two pieces of jewellery should be worn at all times. So for instance if you opt for large chandilier earrings go for a bracelet. And if you have a statement necklace maybe wear a small pair of stud earrings and a chunky bracelet.

3. Follow the Neckline - If you have a strapless dress and are showing lots of flesh go for a multi layered necklace to highlight the neckline. Multi strand necklaces of varying lengths look great on long necks. Dresses with high necklines or lots of detail will often look best with no necklace at all just a bracelet and pair of simple drop earrings or studs. A round neckline looks great with a choker style necklace and a 'v' or sweet heart neckline look fantastic with longer pendant style.

4. Timeless Classic - Try a timeless classic like pearl. You can never go wrong with simple pearls, they have a sophisticated feminine touch to them. Pearl symbolise martial hapiness and can be a good omen. Also consider a simple pair of stud in pearl of crystal coupled with a simple crystal pendant on a silver or gold chain.

5. Add colour - Not all women look great in pale colours, some look washed out. If this is the case add a splash of colour to jewellery. Some women like the classic sapphire blue pendant on silver chain for that something blue or you could match the colours in your bouquet.
So just follow these tips are everything should balance and look beautiful.
